Dual 4-gallon Rotopax fuel canister mounted vertically next to spare tire in my JK. I have a TeraFlex tire carrier, and I had a custom mount cut out to hookup to the carrier. Works great, and gives me 8 gallons of Premium on any trail I need.

Would love to see that custom mount.  I opted for the Deluxe EZ Rack from Rock Slide Engineering.  I love it...but it is pricey.  The Basic EZ Rack is a little cheaper...but I wanted to also run a dual 4gal RotoPax so I opted for the top mount.

I spent years running around the Mojave In an H1 while stationed at Fort Irwin (Army), I am used to dust.  I still have my goggles. I used to wear a neck gator ovef the rest of my face.  Now travel with those little surgical masks.  When I wheeled out that way I usually only had the safari top on.  In the summer it would get 120 plus.  That was about the only time I had my full top on to keep the AC in.
