Thats the nearest meetup for Woolum, leaving Woolum. Its about an hour long. If you were nervous, we could arrange you just meet us there. I'd venture to say you'll be fine, if you can't cross it I probably don't want to.

Showed my wife some of the youtube videos of Woolum crossing. Was told to order a snorkel for the truck  :) Yes ma'am.

I have found videos that state the crossing is about 30" deep.  I know depending on recent rainfall, snow or whatever the levels can change.  My air intake is up about 45"s, my breathers for my axle up front is about 45 up front and about 40" for back axle, gas filler and breather for gas tank.

My lowest breather is my trans and tcase at maybe about 36"s, on top of my transmission.

Breathers typically become submerged when you are stopped, bow wave helps keep the water at bay. I think you'll be fine!

I have done deeper water once before.  There was an inbound tornado and we all headed for lower ground.  We had gone through some not so deep water crossing and the way to low ground.  Allot of rain came down and on our way the water got deeper and one of the people in the group ended up getting water in the motor.  That was over 10 years ago but still my only experience with deeper water, and I guess it hays me a little paranoid.

That pic looks pretty cool.  I will be bringing my oldest son (13) and we try to link up Friday evening if people are camping that night.  Map quest says it is about 170 miles from my place (Success, MO) to Woolum, AR.  I will probably take off early from work and pull the kid out of school early.

Well the days are ticking by, anyone have some modifications they are trying to finish before things get exciting?
